Slabs were honed for most wall elevations, floor and vanity top. We devised a special hand chiselled finish, for some small elevations including cladding to the bath. The bath itself was clad inside and out with Alpine Tiger as was the vanity basin. Flooring was Grolla flamed and brushed as per the rest of the bathrooms in the hotel.
Additionally we supplied what looked like a huge solid chunk of Peperino for the central feature of the living space. For reasons mainly based on weight, it was actually formed using 20mm slab, glued and mitred, then heavily textured and ‘roughed up’ by our masons to recreate the architect’s vision.
